Yeast - Predicted Transmembrane Domains

Last update: Tue Oct 30 15:06:35 CET 2001
Predicted localisation in membranes based on putative transmembrane spans. The calculation of these spans was performed with the ALOM program which applies the KKD algorithm.

P. Klein, M. Kanehisa & C. Delisi (1985) The detection and classification of membrane-spanning proteins Biochim. Biophys. Acta (1985) 815, 468-76.

We have assigned an ORF as a transmembrane protein if a single span has a P:I (periphal:integral) odd smaller than 0 (zero) in minimum. The P:I odd threshold value for more than one span is 15.
